“Your Song is your piece of the Creator, Kay. It is how you experience your aliveness and the Creator and the world you are in. In this way it is a prayer. It is your constant prayer to all of Creation whether you are aware of it or not. When you consciously feel your Song you are in the act of knowing Creation and it knows you. Unconditionally. You are touching Creator with your gloves off and your eyes open.”
- Chea Hetaka, Sacred Link
What a different way to live!
Who wouldn’t want to live this way?
We strive for connection.
Some people find some measure of it in their relationships, in their work, in their spiritual pursuits.
Touching Creator with your gloves off and your eyes open, that’s the ultimate connection.
It seems such a far-fetched concept. Maybe a peak experience during ceremony or meditation. Other intensely passionate moments in your life. Drugs can get you there, for a while. Sex can get you there for a few minutes. A few hours, if you have learned the basics of the oldest sacrament.
But staying there? Living there? That’s a whole different story.
For most of us modern humans it’s the stuff of legends that only special holy people can learn, maybe great masters can unravel that mystery and live this way.
“Lowly humans don’t need to apply,” seems like the generally accepted belief around this wondrous, magical way of being.
If you buy into that belief, if you buy into those thoughtforms you give away, you acquiesce all of your power, you deny your inherent ability to live this way, you deny your birthright.
In Ka Ta See, it’s a way of life everyone can attain. The goal of these teachings is to guide you there to live this way all of your waking hours. And your sleeping hours, too. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
I think more and more people have an awareness that what they are looking for, what they are truly longing for is a deeper meaning to their life, a deeper understanding about the meaning of their life, of their existence.
We search the whole spiritual world and coaching world too, to get a more clear sense of it, maybe we even get a taste of it.
Who am I? Why am I here? Those are the questions that drive us once we realize that no other quest in the world will provide the answers we’re really looking for.
Touching Creator with your gloves off and your eyes open. That state of awareness, that state of being offers you the opportunity to understand your connections with the sacred, to understand your reason for being, to grasp a deeper meaning of your life, of existence.
Not all of it all at once of course, because it’s a big ass existence, but it opens the door to that understanding.
Not the fleeting satisfactions offered by moments of excitement caused by earthly distractions, but permanent fulfillment based on your understanding of your truth and your place in this world.
They say it’s about the journey, not the destination. I think mostly people who’ve never “arrived,” who’ve never had a taste of walking in the awareness of the sacred and touched it with their gloves off and their eyes open, believe that.
It’s not an entirely ridiculous sentiment because there are untold treasures we can gain along the path of our journey. But, an endless journey, and endless pursuit without learning how to catch is just an endless pursuit.
I don’t know about you, maybe you are content with the pursuit.
Me, I love to catch.
One way to get a taste of what I’m talking about is "The Ceremony of Finding Your Song."
You can get a copy of that ceremony by following this link:
If you’re getting a bit tired of the pursuing and would like to learn to catch and are brave and adventurous enough, you can jump right into the thick of it by joining our new class offering, “The Call Of Your Song.”
Here is the link to get the details and join the class:
Touching Creator with your gloves off and your eyes open. That is the exploration that awaits you. Not analyzing the details of the minutia of the possibilities for growth, or understanding the purpose of your life from the constricted imagination of your mind, but charting the unknown possibilities of your existence.
All you need is to reach into your heart and touch the longing that’s already there. It’ll offer you the courage to take the first steps.
And as we all know, “a journey of a thousand leagues begins beneath one’s feet.”
