With Christmas right around the corner, Thanksgiving is maybe a distant memory for you. It isn’t for us.
We hope your Thanksgiving was beautiful. Ours was quite special this year with kids and grandkids, so we’re still thinking and talking about it. It’s always exciting when they come, we get a front row seat to what’s going on in the “muggle” world for a few days. :-)
This visit was a bit different though.
One of the granddaughters couldn’t make it. She visited a boyfriend in Texas. What would make a teenager go visit a boyfriend instead of her grandparents is a mystery to us. 😀 Her mom said it’s complicated.
The bigger surprise though was the granddaughter, Emma, that did come. She wanted to know more about the teachings.
So, on Saturday after Thanksgiving, when everyone else went to town, she stayed to talk with us about the teachings.
We spent about four hours talking with her. She was intently listening and asked some great questions along the way.
What amazed us most was her ability to stay focused through the many hours of the talk. She rarely lost focus and even at the end, her questions showed that she was still very much attentive to what was being shared with her.
Kay went pretty deep with sharing the foundational knowledge of Ka Ta See and Emma stayed with it all the way.
That was impressive, and amazing to see, to say the least.
Maybe there is hope for humanity, yet, and millennials will not destroy the universe as we know it. Instead, they might save the day after all. 😀
It’s not an easy thing for most people these days to stay focused and attentive, and it’s often more challenging for young people.
When Kay and I talked about it afterward, and she shared what a delight it was for her to be able to share the teachings that have become her life with her granddaughter. After this experience, we decided we want to offer the same experience, that form of teaching to our larger community.
We likely won’t be able to exactly duplicate the talk with Emma to a larger audience, but I’m sure we can come close.
So, we decided to offer a complimentary workshop series called “Expanding Consciousness - Reclaiming The Sacred As The Foundation Of Your Life.”
This is a five-part series of short sessions about the importance of, and how to, expand our consciousness if we want to create a future for this world, for the generations of this world.
The titles for the live interactive sessions are:
1. What Is Song?
Knowing Self. The foundation for any learning about and expanding of your consciousness.
2. Heart vs. Linear Mind And Masks.
Why we need to get out of our head and into our heart. Plus the inherent knowledge of our body and whole being if we want to see a future of peace for this world where humanity is blossoming in the fruits of its potential.
3. What Is Our Attention And Our Heart, Our Center And The Nonlinear?
The importance of our attention, focus and the field of awareness on our journey to create a new world.
4. Tsunamis of Unconditional Love.
How to recognize and live in a different reality - the real reality - in the gifts at the heart of aliveness and consciousness throughout the universe.
5. The Difference Between Raising Consciousness And Expanding Consciousness.
Essential knowledge to move your life forward, to move humanity forward, and create a profound future for us all.
These five short session workshops will be taught by Kay Cordell Whitaker the author of The Reluctant Shaman and Sacred Link, with time for questions and answers.
The focus of the first four sessions is on the foundational elements for raising and expanding your consciousness to change your life, your way of being in the world, and to help build a different future for humanity.
The fifth session is about the difference between raising and expanding your consciousness, and why it is so important for us to do both in this time of great change.
