Kay told her mentor, Domano, that she knew plenty of people who were happy and fulfilled, though she didn’t believe it herself. He responded softly:
"This is just a picture of their masks. I assure you, what looks like happiness is just a picture for themselves and all to see that describes their distractions from the real condition beneath of love confused by pain and fear. "And also, there is a whisper of something else, out of reach. Something more than what they know, something grand and exquisite. You know of this."
After years of longing for some clarity and answers, and some sense of purpose and meaning, this old little man, whom she barely knew, had summed up her life in two sentences.
When she asked: “Is this what your tradition is going to teach me, to pursue this unknown?" Domano's partner Chea responded by running her fingers round and round in a circle: "One can pursue forever and never catch, we teach you how to catch!”
Most of us have a sense that we are here for a reason, that we have been given this gift of life for a reason.
The sad thing is that most don't know what that reason is.
Because there is no greater pain than knowing that you are not living the life you are meant to live.
If you have ever asked yourself; "who am I and why am I here?" learning your Song is a simple way to guide you to clarity about those questions and in the process to more deeply understanding the reason for you being alive here today. And to learn to passionately enjoy the wonder, mystery, and beauty of it all.
"Ka Ta See has brought direction and trust for my own inner guidance.
I continue to go deeper into more understanding of Who I Am, and am able to see the beautiful inner connectedness in all my relations as well.
For me, Ka Ta See has been and continues to be the path of healing for myself and those around me."

I’m Kay, and I was a housewife and mother when I stumbled into an apprenticeship with two elder shamans from South America, Domano and Chea Hetaka.
They said that they came here to share a teaching the people of the modern world have long since dangerously lost.
My first response was to run.
Most of us feel that we came here for a reason, that we have been given this gift of life for a reason. The sad thing is that most do not know what that reason is.
In my experience, there is no greater pain than knowing that you are not living the life you were meant to live.
I’m Helmut, and I have had the immense fortune to live, study, and work with Kay for the past 25 years.
You know when people talk about a spiritual path being a daily practice?
I’m not sure they are aware of what kind of practice it becomes when you share your life with a woman like Kay.
“It’s become a practice and part of my regular life. It meant finding, in the midst of some emotionally chaotic things, some real inner peace. With Ka Ta See you can really find a way to meet those daily challenges in your life.”
“Ka Ta See has brought to my life – me. The practice has brought me a sense of falling in love with myself. There is no greater gift. It has shown me the true unconditional love and how can expand our connectiveness to everything. It has shown me who I really am.”
“Ka Ta See has brought balance and beauty to my life and my relationships. It has awakened my connectideness to everything. It woke up my spirit senses. I didn’t even know existed. And I’ll never be able to fit back into the box I used to call my life."
